Starting November 1st 2024, the Microsoft Strategic Partnership Arrangement 2024 (SPA24) replaces the Digital Transformation Arrangement 2021 (DTA21) to offer the UK public sector enhanced access to Microsoft’s product suite.
This five-year partnership between Microsoft and the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) provides special pricing and terms to eligible UK public sector customers, enabling improved access to Microsoft’s tools and services. SPA24 is set to boost innovation, streamline procurement, and maximise value for organisations seeking efficient, secure digital solutions.
With no changes to eligibility criteria, the new arrangement offers more flexibility with lower thresholds for Azure discounts and introduces new technologies to the framework, including Copilot for Microsoft 365. By offering eligible organisations a flexible approach to acquiring Microsoft tools, SPA24 helps ensure that the UK public sector is well-equipped for a future of responsive, data-led public services.
As a dedicated Microsoft partner, with one of the largest Microsoft Licensing Teams in the channel, we’re uniquely positioned to help our customers make the most of SPA24. Our partnership with Microsoft means we have direct access to their latest tools, resources, and insights—allowing us to deliver tailored solutions and support.
For our customers, this translates into improved access to Microsoft’s products and services, ensuring that their digital transformation efforts are not only achievable but optimised for success.
Becky Brown, our Head of Microsoft Licensing and Strategic Development, comments, “This 5-year framework agreement will provide flexibility and predictability to eligible public sector organisations, enabling them to advance their digital innovation ambitions, with end-to-end support and guidance from Phoenix.”
