Data Protection Specialist

To oversee all data protection sales opportunities. To manage the data protection vendor relationships. To create incremental revenue stream. To ensure consistent growth of data protection offerings. Ensure customers have a good experience working with Phoenix.

The main responsibilities are:

  • To build data protection sales pipeline to grow our overall solutions target
  • To work with marketing to execute and track bespoke data protection campaigns across all sectors
  • To ensure generation of pipeline for incremental business streams
  • To manage forecast and pipeline of data protection offerings
  • Enable sales teams to highlight opportunities and engage with solution specialists
  • Manage and maintain service delivery expectations with customers
  • To adhere to and promote at all times, the Phoenix and BTG company values
  • Act as a specialist sales resource, working with customers to educate and sell to them based on value
  • To carry a target and work towards key goals within a team
  • Work closely with various business units to maintain and grow current data protection business
  • Work closely with various vendors to maintain and grow new business and renewal targets
  • Ensure all sales leads/opportunities are tracked and managed via D365
  • Quarterly sales reports for key stakeholders
  • Work as a business enabler, training and educating staff on current and up to date offerings
  • Manage relationships between all teams within Phoenix Software Limited
  • Work with service delivery team to ensure SLA’s / deliverables are compliant
  • Work as an educator to the board and wider team leads, to embed data protection conversations at the heart of our go to market
  • Enable sales and overlay specialists to feel confident in talking about our services
  • Track and manage P/L of business unit to ensure success
  • Support objectives as defined in the company’s information security policy
  • Perform your tasks in support of data and information security

Ideally, you will already have:

  • Social Tough Decision-Making: Has the confidence and ability to take timely and appropriate decisions to further business objectives. It includes investing a level of effort which is appropriate to the decision in hand and ranges from taking routine decisions promptly to making decisions which may be risky or unpopular and requires the use of judgment.
  • Develop and set personal goals: Establishes high goals for personal success and personal accomplishment; meets or exceeds those goals; conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure.
  • Prioritization & Orchestration (across business areas): Displays the quality of insight – being able to visualize what should be done to achieve goals and create a successful future. Always keep in mind consequences of a choice for all the affected parties.
  • Collaboration with others: Work with others to exercise judgement around opportunities that represent the most potential for innovation and return on investment.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to GCSE / A level Standard as minimum
  • 3+ years of selling, preferably with Public Sector experience
